East London: Operations Assistant

Overview We are seeking a proactive and well-organised Operations Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative support within the operations environment. The ideal candidate will have solid administrative abilities, basic computer proficiency, and a warm, professional manner when interacting with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Provide general administrative and operational support to the team Liaise professionally with tenants, contractors, and service providers Assist with scheduling, coordination, and follow-ups for maintenance or operational tasks Maintain accurate filing systems, records, and documentation Capture data and update spreadsheets or internal systems as required Prepare and process basic correspondence, quotations, or reports Support with procurement and stock control where applicable Ensure smooth daily operations and assist with any ad-hoc duties as needed Minimum Requirements Grade 12 / Matric certificate 1–2 years’ experience in an administrative or operations support role Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, friendly, and approachable manner Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to multitask and work independently Personal Attributes Reliable and responsible Team-oriented with a positive attitude Adaptable and willing to learn Customer-focused and professional in all interactions
