Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clerk to join our team at Kempston Recruitment. The successful candidate will be working in East London, supporting a leading automotive finance company with their sales administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice for vehicles sold or transferred
- Processing credit notes; obtaining prior authorisation
- Capturing information for vehicles purchased, to the system
- Monitoring of payments
- Stocking and monitoring of financed vehicles
- Monitoring settlement payments of trade-ins
- Requesting and monitoring Natis documents
- Reconciling vehicle costs and monitoring of outstanding reconciliation costs
- Daily and weekly reporting to the departmental manager
- Warranty and insurance pay-overs
- Payment and monitoring of traffic fines and e-toll accounts
- Processing renewals for company demo’s and trade plates
- Issuing of temporary permits
- Responsible for vehicle registrations, licensing and ordering of plates
- Maintaining up to date information on files
- Assisting the accounts department as may be required
Requirements
- Completed Matric Certificate
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
- Knowledge of Evolve (highly advantageous)
- Knowledge of the motor industry sales administrative process – ideal
- Valid drivers’ license
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
