About the Role
A Warehouse Coordinator is required at a well-established automotive company in East London, to join their dynamic team and contribute to the efficient management of their warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Working in the Logistics Department
- Responsible for Housekeeping
- Ensure FIFO system is adhered to
- Ensure Production Plan is updated and followed
- Closing of Production Orders
- Control inventory Movements between Warehouse and Production
- Control Line Supply Production
- Daily dispatching of customer requirements as per call offs
- Daily attendance and participation of SBU meetings
- Daily liaison with Logistics team
- Daily interaction with Production
- Provide support function to Technical
- Be acquainted with all relevant SPIs (ISO 14000, ISO 18000)
Requirements
- NQF 4 qualification / Matric
- Minimum 2 years working in Logistics Department
- Experience in automotive environment (advantageous)
- Initiative, self-starter with high energy levels
- Good computer skills MS Word; MS Excel and Email
- Ability to handle pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical ability
- Valid Hyster License
- Strong organization skills
- Knowledge of BAAN will be advantageous
