Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure reliability and performance of cold-end equipment (lehrs, conveyors, inspection, coating, palletising).
- Drive defect reduction, KPI ownership, and root cause analysis.
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Manage full mould lifecycle, cost control, and quality performance.
- Ensure engineering safety and statutory compliance.
- Lead and develop artisans, technicians, and apprentices.
Requirements
- BSc / BEng (Mechanical or Electrical) – NQF 7
- GCC advantageous
- Strong reliability and maintenance engineering experience
- CMMS and data-driven problem-solving skills
- Glass manufacturing experience advantageous
