About the Role
The Bill of Materials Controller will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our product data management systems, collaborating with local and international design engineers to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain BOMs using Technical Product Descriptions and Vehicle PR specifications.
- Collaborate with local and international design engineers to ensure BOMs reflect accurate design levels.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure material availability.
- Represent company in global forums.
- Conduct weekly BOM consistency checks using Pasta and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare threat and vulnerability documentation and draft statements for change requests.
- Manage release orders in product lifecycle and engineering data management systems.
- Establish prototype vehicle parts lists and BOM databases for prototype builds.
Requirements
- National Diploma or degree in Engineering, Logistics, IT/Data, Supply Chain, Business Management or Social Sciences and Humanities
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data management, bill of materials management and technical rules in the automotive industry
