Job Summary
- Support preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery (motors, pumps, conveyors, chillers, hydraulics, etc.)
- Assist with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving equipment breakdowns
- Learn to perform basic repairs under supervision (welding, plumbing, electrical, mechanical)
- Adhere to maintenance schedules, keeping accurate logs and records
- Maintain facility hygiene and equipment sanitation to meet food safety standards
- Collaborate with operators and staff to minimize downtime
- Apply safety, compliance, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Participate in projects to upgrade or improve plant reliability
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, an engineering diploma/certificate (electrical, mechanical, mechatronic, or refrigeration) OR artisan/trade qualification
- Interest in food production, plant maintenance, or industrial engineering
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills, positive attitude, and attention to detail
- Willingness to perform manual and technical tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools, safety standards, or production machinery is advantageous
- Driver’s license preferred but not mandatory
- Available to work January 2026 to January 2027
