About the Role
The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our manufacturing processes, working closely with various departments to identify and resolve quality issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishing root causes and implement corrective actions for allocated quality problems.
- Interfacing with various departments within the group.
- Present findings/reports at various forums.
- Liaising with overseas counterparts with regard to build/quality matters.
- Co-ordinate and be accountable for quality issues.
- Lead cross functional teams when required.
- Monitor and reporting of non-conformances and processes and initiating corrective actions to drive early detection.
Requirements
- A minimum National Diploma in Chemistry/Polymer/Mechanical Engineering is required.
- 3 -5 years’ experience within the manufacturing industry is necessary.

- Have good report writing and presentation skills.

- Knowledge of Body and Paint Shop production processes.
- Sound knowledge of colouristics of colour management to analyze and interpret results.

- Be computer literate in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Be assertive and have the ability to motivate.
- Be a team player and be able to work under pressure.
