About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Camp Manager to lead all aspects of camp operations at our prestigious luxury safari camp in the Sabi Sands. This is a hands-on, dynamic role ideal for a leader who thrives in the bush and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations across guest services, housekeeping, F&B, guiding, and maintenance
• Lead, coach, and manage camp staff, fostering teamwork and accountability
• Ensure the highest standards of guest service, hospitality, and attention to detail
• Monitor operational budgets, stock control, and resource management
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols
• Coordinate with guides and operations teams to maintain wildlife and safari experience standards
• Manage bookings, occupancy, and scheduling for operational efficiency
• Support recruitment, training, and development of camp staff
• Report on operational performance, guest satisfaction, and financial metrics
Requirements
• 5 years’ experience in luxury safari lodge or camp management
• Proven leadership and team development skills
• Strong operational, organisational, and financial management abilities
• Exceptional guest service and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safari operations, game drives, and lodge logistics
• Experience in staff management, training, and performance evaluation
• Ability to work under pressure in remote, fast-paced environments
