About the Role
As a Field Service Technician with Unique Personnel Ltd, you will play a critical role in servicing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems for our clients across Ekurhuleni. Your expertise will be crucial in fault finding and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic components, as well as selecting the correct products to assist customers in replacing opposition products in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Fault finding and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic components
- Selecting the correct products or assisting customers with product selection
- Collaborating with colleagues and customers to exchange information on marketing opportunities or preventative maintenance requirements
- Keeping accurate records of service/repair work, including time keeping and spares/components used
- Providing technical support and/or service to customers on hydraulics products sold
- Effectively managing and ensuring full compliance to the SHEQ Management System
Requirements
- Matric Certificate or equivalent
- Higher Technical Qualification (advantageous)
- Red Seal trade test fitter (advantageous)
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in hydraulics environment
- Computer Literate (MS Office, specifically MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of SYSPRO (advantageous)
