Responsibilities:
Understand the accounts processing of both debtors` and creditors` transactions. Reconcile all debtors and creditors payments. Prepare monthly reconciliations and reports for the accountant. Recover debt from customers with agreed payment terms. Identify un-processed payments and receipts and timeously apply them. Identify and resolve all account-related queries timeously. Ensure that POs are requested from the client Process all invoicing. Ensure all customers` monthly processing has been completed and payments allocated before monthly accounts receivable close Ensure the timeous escalation of queries or system failures with the relevant stakeholders. Assist in weekly/monthly stock taking and completion of stock take sheets. Scrutinise monthly expenses. Introduce controls and procedures where necessary. Ad hoc reporting as requested by management. Experience Required: 5 years experience in working with QuickBooks and Pastel. 5 years experience in a similar role and have worked with QuickBooks and Pastel Sound understanding of QuickBooks and Pastel accounting processes.
