Minimum Requirements: Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Trade Tested Red Seal) Minimum of 35 years experience working on heavy commercial vehicles or trucks Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and technical repair skills Ability to work independently and within a structured team environment Valid drivers license (Code 14 advantageous) Experience using electronic diagnostic tools and workshop systems Key Responsibilities: Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and mechanical repairs on commercial vehicles Perform preventative maintenance and ensure adherence to manufacturer standards Complete job cards accurately and timeously Liaise with Service Advisors and Workshop Foreman on repair progress Maintain high levels of quality control and workshop safety Support colleagues in achieving workshop productivity and efficiency targets Attributes: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Excellent communication and teamwork skills Reliable, responsible, and customer-focused Remuneration: A competitive salary package with benefits and incentives, based on experience and qualifications.
