About the Role
The SHERQ Officer is a critical role that requires planning, implementing, administering, and controlling the company’s Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality (SHERQ) systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company’s SHERQ certification and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, administer, and control all relevant documentation and quality aspects to maintain the company’s SHERQ systems.
- Ensure that equipment maintenance and other resources are available to continually maintain the SHERQ systems.
- Register, update, and follow up of all Database systems, including but not limited to:
- Customer Complaints
- Supplier Complaints
- Product Return for Credit Corrective Action System
- Isolations
- Internal and External Audits
- Drawing control
- Incidents and Accidents Procedure
- Compile monthly reports as and when needed.
- Administer all drawings for the Quality control lab, register new and updated drawings, and ensure latest versions are used.
- Administer, update, and compiling all in process inspection books.
- Writing out requisitions and handling of orders.
- Administer, update, and distribution of all Group and SHERQ master documents.

- Post-matric qualification
- Relevant SHERQ Officer experience
Qualifications
- Formal education on ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 latest version standards (if applicable)
