Factory Engineer (GCC)
Location: Ermelo
Seniority Level: Mid Career (Above 6 yrs exp)
Job Type: Permanent
Report to: Managing Director
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage factory engineering projects, contractors, and site work
- Oversee factory maintenance and construction programs for optimal plant uptime
- Ensure legal compliance with the OSH Act and regulations
- Manage factory assets and assist with budgets
- Ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality of plant and processes
- Supervise subordinates and teams for effective performance
- Comply with ISO and Quality Management Systems requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Mechanical or electrical engineering graduate with 2+ years’ post-graduate practical experience
- Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) factories
- 5 years’ practical experience in an industrial plant with >3000kW capacity
- 3 years’ experience leading a maintenance team
- 3 years’ CAD experience
- Proficient in English communication
