The Business Analyst will oversee the enterprise resource planning system while driving process optimisation and serving as the strategic liaison between business operations, vendors, and IT to ensure system effectiveness and organizational alignment. This position is based in Jacobs, Durban. Key Responsibilities System administration including security, user management, and maintenance of master data Change management and facilitation between business users, vendors, and IT teams Process mapping and reengineering support Creation and maintenance of SOPs and procedural documentation User training and ongoing support Assistance with ERP-related project implementations Support with implementation and review of ERP controls, user permissions, and access management Development of technical support documentation for systems and application Support the development and administration of online sales channels and e-commerce operations Management & reporting of production output data Education A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, finance, economics, information technology Skills Strong written & verbal communication skills Report writing & documentation skills Problem solving & analytical thinking Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Office suite Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly Data analytics (SQL beneficial but not required) Required Experience 1-2 years’ professional experience in a business, finance, or IT role Preferred Experience Prior ERP experience (manufacturing industry beneficial) Finance or accounting background Business Process Management (BPM) Risk & controls experience Costing in a manufacturing environment Exposure to SQL or data analytics
