About the Role

A well-established company within the manufacturing and distribution sector is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Representative to join their dynamic team in Ethekwini, KwaZulu-Natal. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused, results-driven professional with strong sales administration skills and a solid understanding of technical products.

Key Responsibilities

Manage incoming sales enquiries and provide accurate quotations to customers.
Process sales orders efficiently and ensure timely follow-ups with clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
Coordinate with the operations, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions.
Maintain updated product knowledge and stay informed about pricing, availability, and technical specifications.
Handle customer complaints or queries professionally and ensure resolution.
Prepare sales reports and assist with general sales administration as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in Internal Sales, preferably within a technical, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
Excellent administrative and organisational abilities.
Ability to read and interpret basic technical information or product specifications.
Computer literate with experience in CRM or ERP systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (relevant tertiary qualification advantageous).
