About the Role
The Barman position at our luxury wine estate in Franschhoek offers a unique opportunity to serve exceptional beverages and interact with guests in one of South Africa’s most beautiful wine regions. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch service and ensuring seamless guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving beverages according to luxury standards
- Greeting and assisting guests with warmth and professionalism
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
- Supporting events, tastings, and private functions as required
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies
- Collaborating with the F&B and service teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
Requirements
- Previous bar or beverage service experience preferred
- Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
- Flexible and willing to work weekends and public holidays
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R6,500 – R7,500 per month
