? Finance Manager Luxury Vineyard Property | Franschhoek, WC ? Kendrick Recruitment is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take the lead at a luxury vineyard property in the heart of Franschhoek. This prestigious property offers award-winning hospitality, two fine-dining restaurants, a spa, and a working wineryall set amidst the breathtaking Cape Winelands. This role is perfect for a strategic, hands-on financial leader who thrives in a luxury hospitality environment. Youll be responsible for overseeing the full finance function, providing accurate reporting, ensuring compliance, driving cost control, and supporting executive decision-making. Youll also lead and mentor the finance team, while working closely with department heads to optimise operational efficiency and profitability. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting accountability, accuracy, and service excellence * Oversee all financial accounting functions including journals, reconciliations, management accounts, and intercompany transactions * Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, collaborating with department heads to drive financial performance * Provide actionable financial insights to the General Manager and executive team to support decision-making * Implement and monitor internal controls across departments, particularly for cash, stock, and procurement * Maintain statutory compliance, liaising with auditors, SARS, and financial institutions * Oversee financial systems, POS and Property Management System integrations * Maintain Fixed Asset Register and Capex controls * Immerse yourself in day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth running of the property from a financial perspective Requirements: * BCom Accounting or equivalent, with completed SAICA articles * Minimum of 5 years post-article experience in financial management or senior accounting * Experience in the hospitality industry is highly advantageous, including restaurant POS and Property Management Systems knowledge * Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills * Commercially minded with a strategic and operational outlook * Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities * Organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines * Resident in Franschhoek, Paarl, Stellenbosch, or nearby areas (Northern Suburbs also considered) Whats on Offer: ?
