Benefits:</strong> Live-out position candidates must be based in the Franschhoek area</p><hr><h2>Position Overview</h2><p>We are seeking a <strong>detail-oriented and thoughtful Laundry Attendant</strong> to join the team at a luxury retreat in the Franschhoek Valley. This is a hands-on role that requires care, precision, and a calm, consistent approach to ensure that all guest linens, uniforms, and garments are maintained to the highest possible standards.</p><hr><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li><p>Take full ownership of the <strong>laundry cycle</strong> sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding</p></li><li><p>Maintain <strong>high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and fabric care</strong></p></li><li><p>Ensure timely turnover of linens and garments for guest rooms, kitchen, and dining service</p></li><li><p>Keep the laundry environment <strong>calm, efficient, and well-stocked</strong>, flagging any supply or equipment needs</p></li><li><p>Support the team with a <strong>steady, kind presence</strong>, open to refining systems and teaching others</p></li></ul><hr><h2>Requirements & Skills</h2><ul><li><p>Minimum 2 years laundry or housekeeping experience, preferably in a luxury hospitality environment</p></li><li><p><strong>Attention to detail</strong> and pride in consistent fabric care</p></li><li><p>Strong organisational skills and ability to manage laundry operations independently</p></li><li><p>Positive attitude with a collaborative, professional approach</p></li><li><p>Must reside in the <strong>Franschhoek area</strong> (live-out role)</p></li><li><p>Reliable transport to and from the lodge</p></li></ul><hr><h2>Package & Benefits</h2><ul><li><p>Salary: <strong>R7,000 R10,000</strong> per month, dependent on experience</p></li><li><p>Live-out role <strong>local candidates only</strong></p></li><li><p>Uniform provided</p></li><li><p>Supportive, professional working environment within a high-end hospitality setting</p></li></ul><hr><p>? <strong>TO APPLY:</strong><br>Submit your CV, contactable references, and a recent head & shoulders photograph ASAP!</p><p>? <strong>Please Note:</strong> If you do not receive feedback within 7 working days, kindly consider your application unsuccessful.</p>
