Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the hotel, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting (mainly painting)
- Handle repairs and servicing of hotel amenities such as doors, windows, fixtures, and furniture.
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and prevent breakdowns.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete larger projects as required.
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests from guests and other departments to ensure prompt service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman, technician, or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
