About the Role
We are seeking a Spa Therapist to join our team at a Healing Retreat in Franschhoek, where you will be responsible for providing holistic wellness through treatments like massages, facials and body wraps, focusing on personalized client care and creating a tranquil environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and explain treatments
- Perform various spa therapies (massages, facials, body treatments, aromatherapy) according to set standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain pristine cleanliness
- Create a calm, welcoming atmosphere and manage appointment schedules efficiently
- Offer product recommendations and understand spa products to effectively advise clients
- Work with other staff to offer holistic wellness and contribute to the spa’s overall service
Requirements
- Recognized Spa or Beauty Therapy Qualification
- Previous experience in a luxury hospitality spa environment
- Keen interest in health & wellness
- Knowledge of products and protocols
- Strong understanding of hygiene and safety procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills in a high-end setting
- Familiarity with in-room spa equipment and guest amenities
