About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and service-driven Waiter to join our renowned luxury wine estate in Franschhoek. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Present menus, take food and beverage orders, and ensure timely service.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and wine pairings.
- Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and maintained throughout service.
- Deliver a high standard of personal presentation and service etiquette.
- Handle guest queries and resolve issues promptly and politely.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar team to ensure smooth service flow.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fine-dining or upmarket restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for guest satisfaction.
- Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage.
- Well-groomed and professional appearance.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Salary & Benefits
- Salary: R6,000 – R7,000 (Negotiable, Dependent on Experience)
- Live-Out Meal Allowance: R22.50 per shift (for salaries below R25 000)
