About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician to join our team at Workers Holdings in the Free State region. As a key member of our pest control services, you will be responsible for inspecting and treating pest infestations on various sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of different sites to determine the appropriate treatment plan
- Apply pesticides and other pest control treatments in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations
- Monitor and follow up on treatments to ensure effective pest control
- Communicate with management and make recommendations on preventive measures
- Keep records of all services provided and maintain accurate records of pest control activities
Requirements
- Grade 12 high school diploma
- Prior experience working as a Pest Control Technician or in a related field
- Valid certification in pest management, including a P-number
- Knowledge of common pests and their habits
- Registration certificate from agriculture, forestry & fisheries
- Good attention to detail and excellent communication skills
