Qualification, skills and experience requirements:

• ICB Technical Financial Accountant, Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Financial Management or similar qualification
• Registration with CIBA, SAIPA or SAICA is not required, but candidates must be on a clear professional accounting pathway
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant accounting or senior bookkeeping experience
• Proven experience managing accounts for multiple companies
• Strong working knowledge of Sage One is beneficial
• Solid understanding of VAT, payroll and intercompany accounting
• Comfortable working independently in an on-site environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Full accounting function across multiple entities within the group
• Managing all customer invoicing and supplier invoices
• Statement and balance sheet reconciliations
• Daily cash-up and bank reconciliations
• Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• SARS compliance including VAT and payroll
• Stock reporting and financial reporting
• Working closely with and reporting directly to the CFO
• Oversight and coordination of bookkeeping activities
• Ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial records

This role is ideal for a strong, experienced accounting professional who is either qualified or well advanced in their studies and confident managing the full finance function for a group of companies.
