About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team in Springs, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing purchase orders and supplier invoices while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify purchase order and invoices in a timely manner
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and analyze reports related to accounts payable activities
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of accounts payable experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
