Job Description

About the Role

Network Finance is seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Accountant to join our team in Gauteng. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate postings
Maintain accurate records and ledgers
Perform journal entries and posting to the ledger
Assist in preparing trial balances and financial reports
Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines

Requirements

Relevant Accounting qualification, or related discipline
Minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant accounting experience
Strong understanding of the accounting equation: Assets = Equity + Liabilities
Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately
Knowledge of the accounting cycle (process)
Experience with journal entries (debit/credit) and posting to the ledger
Understanding of trial balances and financial statements

Qualifications
