About the Role

As a BI Developer at Network Finance, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising end-to-end business intelligence solutions within a Microsoft BI ecosystem. You’ll work closely with technical and business teams to deliver accurate, scalable, and insight-driven reporting platforms that support strategic decision-making. This role offers exposure to complex data environments, modern BI tools, and long-term professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance ETL processes using SSIS
  • Design and manage data warehouse and data mart solutions
  • Build and optimise SQL Server databases and queries
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Implement data models using Kimball methodology principles
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimisation
  • Participate in DevOps and deployment processes
  • Provide technical input into BI architecture and improvements

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Computer Information Systems, Information Management, Finance, or Mathematics (NQF 6+) , Degree (NQF 7+) preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in ETL and BI development within Microsoft BI environments (SQL Server, SSIS) + At least 1 year of hands-on Power BI report development experience
  • Strong technical expertise in MS SQL Server, SQL, SSIS, SSAS, DevOps, and PowerApps
  • Advanced understanding of ETL methodologies and best practices
  • Exposure to full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Proven experience designing solutions using Kimball methodology
