Well-known property management company based in Parkwood (Rosebank border) is urgently seeking the services of an all-round experienced bookkeeper with 5 years work experience for a permanent position, subject to a successful probation three-month period.The service environment functions very much like an accounting practice and involves many clients shared between four bookkeepers (the new appointment included).The main duties of the bookkeeper will be to finalise trial balances (TB) for audit, sending audit packs, liaison and follow through with auditors and other internal and external stakeholders until audits and annual financial statements (AFS) are finalised for numerous property schemes and associations. Some related ad-hoc tasks could also be assigned when necessary.The work will mainly entail understanding how to interpret TBs and knowing what adjustments and associated work – including bank recons, eWallet and petty cash – are required to finalise said TBs, and ultimately facilitating the conclusion of audits and AFSs.Must have Matric (with Math and Accounting preferred). A qualification, like a bookkeeping certificate, diploma or equivalent will be advantageous.Must start at short notice in order to understudy current leaving bookkeeper before end of September 2025.Salary offered for the position is R15,000 to R20,000 per month gross, depending on experience and qualifications.
