Job Description
- Business leadership and strategic support to MD
- Report to the MD and Board of Directors
Full finance function responsibility, including:
- Financial reporting
- Full management accounts
- Statutory finance
- Performance management and analysis
- Business planning, budgets and forecast
- Cashflow
- Ownership of inventory and import oversight, ensuring effective financial management, accurate stock valuation, and control across high value inventory
- Operational commercial management
- Corporate finance
- Risk management and governance
- Key business stakeholder engagement to customers, suppliers and technology partners, banks etc
- Direct strategy
- Treasury Operations
- Oversee finance: Finance & Reporting, Costing, Debtors, Creditors, Treasury, Tax
- Oversee importing, stock procurement, warehousing, facilities management and legal
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant / CA(SA)
- 10+ years of experience of progressive finance experience
- Experience in an executive financial leadership role, with direct exposure to board level reporting and stakeholder engagement
- SAP beneficial
- Solid understanding of inventory and stock management, with the ability to leverage it to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
- Operational experience and hands-on
