As the CFO, you will be responsible for leading the company’s financial strategy, planning, and governance to support its long-term objectives. You’ll partner closely with the CEO and executive team to provide strategic insight, ensure sound financial management, and safeguard the company’s assets and profitability.
 
Duties:
 

• Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement long-term financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts aligned to business goals.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and accuracy of management accounts, financial statements, and variance analyses.
• Budget & Expenditure Management: Manage budgets, monitor costs, and drive initiatives to enhance expenditure control and efficiency.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and Bidvest Group policies.
• Financial Management: Oversee cash flow, working capital, and cost control, while identifying opportunities to improve financial performance.
• Reporting & Analysis: Provide financial insights and scenario analyses to guide executive decision-making and business growth.
• Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team that exemplifies excellence and accountability.

Qualifications:
 

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Honours / CTA
• CA(SA) / CIMA

 
Experience:
 

• 5–10 years’ senior management experience within a complex, fast-paced environment – – ideally within manufacturing, logistics, or large corporate sectors.
• Strong proficiency in financial systems (ERP/SYSPRO), advanced Excel, and financial modelling.
• Proven ability to influence at executive level and lead transformation in financial management and performance.
