About the Role
We are looking for a detail-driven and reliable Junior Bookkeeper to support both our finance and front-office teams in Cape Town. This role is ideal for someone who’s organised, adaptable, and ready to take on a mix of bookkeeping and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture supplier invoices, receipts, and supporting documents using Dext OCR and Xero.
- Assist with supplier reconciliations and month-end processes.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with finance SOPs.
- Follow up on missing proof of payments and documentation.
- Collate delivery documents and confirm goods received for Finance.
- Provide reception relief during breaks and handle calls and visitors professionally.
- Support the Accountant and Bookkeeper with general administrative duties.
Requirements
- Matric (minimum qualification).
- 23 years experience in an administrative, finance, or office support role.
- Exposure to financial administration or document capturing (advantageous).
- Proficient in G-Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Xero or Dext OCR is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
- Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
