Job Summary
Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for consolidating financial data? One of the largest suppliers of construction-related materials, is seeking a Consolidation Accountant to join their organisation.

Duties:
- Ensure financial reports to all stakeholders are reported on time, accurately, reliable and consistent.
- Implement reporting changes according to requirements and in accordance with new standards in terms of IFRS.
- Prepare and produce monthly financial reporting statements for internal and external reporting purposes.
- Ensure an effective framework and procedures are in place to manage the full financial accounting process of the company.
- Provide the appropriate advice and consultation to ensure that sound financial practices are implemented.
- Perform consolidation of Group accounts.
- Analyse variance reports and produce the necessary consolidated reports.
- Budget/Forecast input coordination is required in accordance with scheduled budgetary/forecast activities.
- Set work processes and procedures to optimise financial accounting processes.
- Manage the Maintenance of the GL account master data integrity.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom Accounting
- BCom Honours
- CA(SA)
Experience:
- Completed SAICA Articles
- 5 Years experience in Group Financial Consolidations role.
- At least 2 years of Management Experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- Financial reporting skills
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of IFRS / IAS / reporting requirements
- Analytical skills
- Judgment and insight into financial information
- Presentation skills
- Expert knowledge of Caseware, SAP, BPC and MS applications
