About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Content and Community Manager to join our team at Communicate Finance, where you will be responsible for developing and driving a monthly content plan across multiple channels, including our website, blog, social media, email newsletters, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive a monthly content plan that spans our website, blog, social media (LinkedIn, Meta), and email newsletters
- Create a mix of content, including in-depth SEO articles, website copy, and engaging social posts
- Partner with the performance marketing team to ensure content and paid campaigns work together seamlessly
- Put SEO strategy into action by working with our agency to optimise all content
- Be the voice behind our brand on social media, engaging with our community in real-time
- Curate and write a monthly newsletter packed with updates, stories, and insights
- Collaborate on campaign briefs, providing copy that brings ideas to life
- Develop targeted content to support customer retention and upgrade initiatives
- Brief and collaborate with our in-house creative team (designers, videographers) on visual content
- Keep a close eye on content performance, using data to refine our approach
- Maintain a vibrant blog with at least two new SEO articles every month
- Contribute written content for award submissions and PR opportunities
Requirements
A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism (NQF Level 7)
A portfolio showcasing your best B2B copywriting work
At least three years’ experience in a content marketing role, preferably in B2B
Demonstrable skill in writing for SEO, including keyword use and on-page best practices
Experience managing social media for a brand, particularly on LinkedIn and Meta
Familiarity with email marketing platforms and performance analysis
Confidence in briefing creative team members on content needs
