Job Summary
? Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of costing, pricing, and margin analysis within a dynamic production environment
- Lead deep-dive investigations into manufacturing and operational costs to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets for the factory
- Produce monthly management accounts and financial performance reports
- Conduct daily sales and margin analysis to drive business strategy
- Keep BOMs, routings, and WIP accurate and up to date
- Handle new product costing and internal pricing strategies
- Analyse cost variances and implement corrective actions
- Support investment proposals and strategic financial forecasting
What You Bring:
- A BCom in Management Accounting or equivalent qualification
- CIMA (Management Level) highly advantageous
- Minimum 3+ years’ cost accounting experience in a steel or heavy manufacturing environment (non-negotiable)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, cost control, and financial governance
- High-level Excel skills and experience with Sage X3, CaseWare, or similar systems
- Analytical mindset with sharp attention to detail
- Ability to interpret technical data and translate it into financial insights
- Resilience and focus in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
