Job Description
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take ownership of the full finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement:
- Oversee daily financial processing across creditors, debtors, payroll, receipts and payments
- Prepare and review monthly financial accounts and management reports
- Lead financial audit processes across group entities
- Strengthen and maintain financial controls and systems
- Manage inventory controls, stock counts, and related financial risks
- Support budgeting and provide meaningful financial insights
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS, tax regulations (VAT, income tax, payroll taxes) and reporting requirements
- Work closely with ERP systems (Evolution) to optimise finance processes
- Drive ongoing improvements across finance operations
- Identify risks, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
What we’re looking for
- BCom Accounting / Finance (essential)
- Completed SAICA articles
- CTA / Honours (advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years post-articles experience
- Strong preference for manufacturing industry exposure
Your experience includes
- Financial reporting and month-end processes
- Audit co-ordination and compliance
- Inventory and stock control in a manufacturing environment
- Budgeting and management reporting
- ERP systems (Evolution highly advantageous)
- Advanced Excel and exposure to BI tools
