Requirements:
- Matric is essential and a further qualification in travel and tourism is a big advantage
- Minimum of 5 years of high end safari reservations experience at a senior level
- Must have a real passion for wildlife and conservation as well as a commitment to sustainability
- Must have excellent communication skills in English
- The ability to speak a foreign language is a big bonus!
- Must have a great background in guest relations, promotion and inbound tourism
- Must be well-travelled (both personal and work experience) in Southern and Eastern Africa
- Must be able to engage with a wide range of people with ease
- Must be well presented and professional with brilliant admin skills
- Must be proficient in MS Office, TourPlan etc…
- Must be highly organised, creative and consistent in their work
- Must be a natural problem solver with excellent attention to details
- Must be very well presented
- Must be confident, outgoing, positive and energetic
- Must be able to multi-task to a high level and keep cool and calm under pressure
- Must always be willing to go the extra mile!
- References will be thoroughly checked and need to be excellent
