About the Role
Intervid Africa, an established division of United Business Solutions, is a leading CCTV, Access Control and T&A solutions provider based in South Africa. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Rivonia, Sandton, Gauteng. As a Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for building relationships with new clients, maintaining existing ones, identifying new business opportunities, and meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business opportunities
- Make telephone calls and in-person visits to prospective customers, including presentations to clients
- Proactively research sources for developing prospective customer leads
- Develop clear and effective written proposals and quotations for prospective customers
- Plan and organise a sales strategy by maximising the return on time investment
- Provide management with feedback and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and the potential for new products and services
- Maintain and update CRM tool daily with diary entries, prospect sheets, quotes, lost order sheets, and sales activity sheets
- Ensure all contracts and other documentation are correctly completed and that all required documentation is submitted to the sales coordinator for processing of deals
- Achieve 100% of monthly and annual sales targets
- Manage accurate forecast commitments and pipelines
- Cross-sell all lines of business to existing and potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate/Matric
- At least 5 years of proven experience in selling Access Control, CCTV, and/or Time and Attendance Solutions, with an understanding of the associated IT network and software
- Valid drivers license
- Advanced levels of computer literacy, including knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and on various platforms (telephonic, Zoom/Teams/Skype)
- Skilled in managing inter-personal relationships within a team
- Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment
