We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Project Coordinator. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain practical experience in project coordination within a technical or engineering environment. You will assist the Project Management team in planning, organising, and tracking projects, while learning the fundamentals of project execution, stakeholder communication, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Support:

• Assist in developing and updating project plans and schedules.
• Help coordinate project activities and meetings.
• Take minutes during project meetings and distribute to relevant stakeholders.
• Support in gathering and organising project documentation.

Administrative tasks:

• Maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
• Support with project-related reports, tracking progress, and updating spreadsheets.
• Help track procurement orders and deliveries with guidance from senior staff. Stakeholder Communication:
• Assist in communicating with internal teams, suppliers, and service providers.
• Help coordinate logistics such as site visits, transport, and material tracking. Learning and Development:
• Gain hands-on experience in project lifecycle stages.
• Observe and support senior staff in managing risks and compliance requirements.
• Learn and apply basic SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) principles on site and in planning.

Requirements:

• South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
• Must not have previously participated in the YES Programme.
• National Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; OR
  Minimum National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
