Key Responsibilities
Operational & Project Oversight
Lead and coordinate all estate maintenance and construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Oversee daily operations across multiple sites, ensuring optimal deployment of personnel, equipment, and resources.
Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain high operational standards.
Team Leadership & HR Management
Manage and mentor a large, multi-disciplinary team including supervisors, workshop staff, and administrative personnel.
Conduct recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management in collaboration with HR.
Enforce disciplinary procedures in line with company policy and labour legislation.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary liaison with clients, contractors, and estate stakeholders.
Attend site meetings, tender briefings, and client consultations; provide technical input and minor design advice.
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for all projects and services rendered.
Budgeting & Reporting
Prepare and submit monthly operational and overtime budget forecasts.
Monitor and control project and operational expenditure within approved budgets.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, procurement, pesticide applications, and compliance documentation.
Strategic Planning & Compliance
Develop and implement short- and long-term maintenance and development plans.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health & safety, and administrative policies.
Collaborate with Directors on major operational changes and strategic initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years’ experience in project or operations management, preferably in landscaping environments.
Proven leadership of large teams (100+ staff), including supervisory and technical personnel.
Strong budgeting, procurement, and cost control experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
Proficient in project reporting, scheduling, and resource planning.
Experience working with Homeowners Associations or lifestyle estates.
Knowledge of agronomy, landscaping, or greenbelt maintenance.
