About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman to join our team at Execustaff South Africa (Pty) Ltd. As a key member of our design and development team, you will be responsible for creating precise working drawings and designs that meet our clients’ requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Familiarise yourself with the Company’s equipment so as to effectively utilise all elements in designs
- Produce working drawings to assist with logistical planning and the compilation of equipment lists
- Prepare working drawings of confirmed jobs for the Technicians to provide a visual reference from which to complete the installation
- Produce conceptual drawings/designs as required
- Create and update a library of standard structures drawings
- Develop and maintain an archive of all CAD drawings generated by the other branch
- Create new designs for stages/structures as required
- Design within the parameters of safety regulations
- Keep abreast of the latest CAD technology
- Maintain current working knowledge of structural standards, regulations and current design factors for equipment used in the erection of structures
- Assist management with any other duties as may be required
Requirements
- Matric, Preferable – Diploma Engineer
- Preferable – 4 – 5 years’ experience within mechanical environment.
- Intermediate experience of CAD software and techniques
- Preferable good working knowledge of Fluid Power
- Driver’s License
- English spoken fluently and written, Afrikaans advantageous
- Microsoft Office
