About the Role
Network Contracting is seeking an experienced Millwright to join our team in Gauteng. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant machinery and equipment
- Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on PLC-controlled systems
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with maintenance schedules
- Install, commission, and modify machinery and equipment as required
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance
Requirements
- Trade Tested Millwright (Red Seal)
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience with PLCs (Siemens/Allen Bradley advantageous)
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and VSDs
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and standby when required
