Job Description
- Manage and oversee full shopfitting and construction projects from inception to completion
- Coordinate production and on-site installation processes
- Interpret and work from architectural drawings, specifications, and site plans
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Operate and supervise the use of woodworking machinery and tools
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or construction-related issues
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain a strong attention to detail throughout every phase of the project
- Report progress and challenges to management regularly
Requirements
- 20–25 years’ experience in shopfitting, cabinet making, and/or construction
- Currently employed with a strong referenceable track record
- In-depth knowledge of shopfitting techniques, construction materials, and processes
- Project management experience in both workshop production and on-site installations
- Proficient in reading architectural and site plans
- Experience operating a full range of woodworking equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High attention to detail and quality control
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Ability to provide a portfolio of completed commercial projects
