About the Role
Communicate Finance is seeking an experienced Project Manager & HVAC Sales Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations, managing tenders, and leading end-to-end project delivery. They will work closely with Procurement and Stores to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate, competitive HVAC quotations for commercial, industrial, and residential projects
- Manage the full tender lifecycle, from initial enquiry through to submission and award
- Produce HVAC system designs aligned with industry standards and best practice
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, including procurement, subcontractor management, health and safety compliance, commissioning, and handover—ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost control
- Collaborate closely with Procurement and Stores to prevent supply delays and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained, serviceable, and compliant with regulatory requirements
- Take full ownership of site operations, managing projects ranging from single-unit installations to large-scale, multi-million-rand developments
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience within the HVAC industry
- Strong ability to design HVAC systems and confidently read and interpret building drawings and technical layouts
- Proven success in managing projects from initial planning through to completion
- Commercially astute with strong sales capability and a client-centric approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced capability in Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused manner
- Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable personal transport essential
