Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for engineering projects
• Analyse tender requirements and develop solution-based proposals
• Collaborate with engineering, project, and sales teams to gather project data
• Prepare cost estimates, scope definitions, and project schedules
• Ensure all submissions meet client specifications and deadlines
• Support business development through technical input and client engagement

Minimum Requirements

• BEng Degree (Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline) – essential
• Strong understanding of process engineering principles
• Previous experience in proposals, tenders, or cost estimation advantageous
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail

About the role

The proposals engineer will be responsible for developing the technical and commercial components of proposals by interpreting client requirements and aligning them with ProProcess modular standards, FEED/EPS methodologies, and commercial strategy.

Key responsibilities

– Develop the technical and commercial sections of FEED, EPS, and modular product bids
– Align client specifications and standards with company capabilities and modular configurations
– Write detailed solution descriptions, process narratives, scope breakdowns, deliverable lists, and technical assumptions
– Prepare modular layouts, diagrams, PFDs, GA visuals, and technical documentation for proposal submissions
– Work closely with process, mechanical, electrical, and fabrication teams to ensure technical accuracy
– Support clarifications, technical Q&A, and tender query responses throughout the bid process
– Assist in assembling cost models and BOQs alongside the bid and proposals lead and estimating teams
– Ensure consistency with modular standards and lessons from previously executed projects
– Collaborate with marketing and communications to enhance proposal graphics, visuals, and storytelling
– Contribute to lessons learned, template improvements, and continuous enhancement of content libraries
