Leadership & Finance Oversight

• Lead a team of finance managers and ensure high-quality delivery across debtors, creditors, deals, accounting, payroll, and reporting.
• Strengthen financial governance, internal controls, and SOPs across all sites.

Financial Reporting & Month-End

• Oversee full month-end close, including management accounts, variance analysis, and balance sheet reviews.
• Deliver accurate monthly reporting packs for executives.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

• Lead the annual budget process and drive monthly forecasting.
• Analyse performance, risks, trends, and commercial opportunities.

Cashflow, Treasury & Working Capital

• Monitor cashflow, liquidity, treasury movements, and working capital KPIs.
• Provide insights to support strategic decisions and operational optimisation.

Audit, Compliance & Controls

• Manage internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with governance, statutory requirements, and internal controls.

Operational & Cross-Functional Support

• Support operations, supply chain, and commercial teams with financial insights.
• Address escalations and improve processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Stock, Fixed Assets & Special Projects

• Oversee stock processes and variance investigations across all DCs.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and support ad hoc projects, analysis, and due diligence.

Executive Support

• Prepare executive reports, strategic analysis, and act as second-in-command to the finance executive.

Requirements

• CA(SA) with 5+ years post-articles
• FMCG, logistics, manufacturing or supply chain experience advantageous
• Strong leadership and operational finance background
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
