Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Planning and organizing production schedules and ensuring cost effectiveness.
- Setting quality standards and adhering to health and safety.
- Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes.
- Overseeing production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
- Ensure selecting, ordering, and purchasing materials are on time.
- Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
- Liaison with different departments, e.g., purchasing, sales and technical department.
- Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with internal customers and managers.
- Supervising and motivating of team of employees as well as identifying training needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric
- Production / Management Diploma/Degree
- 5-10 years’ experience in Production Management’
- Management Certification from a recognized institution/association.
- MRP/ERP experience
- Industrial Engineering experience (Advantage)
- AI & Digitalization knowledge (Advantage)
