Job Summary
- Communicate with sales and customers.
- Communicate with management and workshop staff.
- Do 3D designs and basic 3D layouts.
- Draw in-depth manufacturing drawings.
- Derive project costings through BOM’s.
Minimum
Requirements:
- Fully proficient in Autodesk Inventor
- Must have sheet metal design experience. (Not only nesting experience)
- At least 5 years’ experience as a draughtsman
- Must have own transport to work and back.
- Applicant must be able to work unsupervised and run his/her own projects.
Advantageous experience:
- Experience with 3D scanners.
- FEA software experience.
- ISO system experience.
- Stocking system knowledge.
- Press brake and laser cutter operation knowledge
- Experience in the automotive sector.
