About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Stores Assistant to join our team in Germiston, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in stores management and a strong background in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage store operations, including inventory control and stock management
- Process invoices, requisitions, and basic reporting as required
- Maintain accurate records of job cards, stock codes, and other relevant information
- Utilize forklift licenses to efficiently manage warehouse operations
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Matric Certificate in Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is advantageous
- 13 years stores experience, preferably in a trailer manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience dealing with invoices, requisitions, and basic reporting is beneficial
- Basic computer literacy in MS Office
- Ability to understand invoices, requisitions, job cards, and stock codes
