About the Role
GAP Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Tax Administrator to join their team in Gauteng. As a key member of the accounting firm, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with South African tax legislation and managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit tax returns and other documentation to SARS
- Conduct research and analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of tax returns
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and colleagues
- Maintain accurate records and files in accordance with SARS regulations
- Collaborate with team members to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Tax Administrator within an Accounting Firm environment
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Taxation | Accounting required
- Proficient in SARS eFiling | EasyFile | Excel essential
- Strong knowledge of South African Tax Legislation | Income Tax (IT14 | IT12 | IT12R) | Provisional Tax (IRP6) | VAT | PAYE | SDL | UIF
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and own Transport required
