A leading filtration solutions company is looking for a driven Technical Sales Representative to manage mining & industrial clients across South Africa and Africa. This role focuses on selling filtration consumables, growing key accounts, and expanding into new African markets.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Engineering Diploma/Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical or Mining).
• 3–5 years’ technical sales experience in mining, industrial or export markets.
• Experience travelling into Africa and developing new territories.
• Dust extraction/filtration exposure essential (wet filtration advantageous).
• Able to interpret technical drawings & handle costings.
• Computer literate (MS Office, online meetings; Pastel advantageous).
• Valid driver’s licence + own vehicle.
• Clear criminal & credit record.

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Proven track record selling technical solutions into mining & process industries.
• Strong ability to build relationships, present solutions, and win new business.
• Comfortable managing accounts, conducting site visits, and identifying cross-sell opportunities.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure, self-disciplined, structured and reliable.
• Willingness to travel locally and extensively into Africa.
• Ability to grow active accounts, maintain accurate CRM/admin, and prepare quotes (Pastel).
• High emotional intelligence, integrity, and a stable, team-focused personality.
