Duties:
- Perform end-to-end manual and automated testing for business solutions.
- Validate functionality, performance, reliability, and system compatibility.
- Conduct testing gap analysis between requirements and environments.
- Define quality standards during PI and sprint meetings and ensure adherence
- Document and maintain test plans, scenarios, acceptance criteria, and results.
- Develop and maintain test automation artifacts
- Execute and manage manual and automation regression tests.
- Test big data outputs for accuracy.
- Demonstrate deliverables to stakeholders and provide feedback on QA processes.
- Monitor test coverage and ensure predictable outcomes.
- Minimize defects through proactive quality measures.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Diploma in Information Technology.
- ISTQB/ISEB certification preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years’ testing experience, with 4 years in test automation.
- At least 2 years’ experience in financial services or investment environment.
- Strong SQL knowledge and ability to work with big data.
- Business process automation experience.
- Agile environment experience essential.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration.
- Out-of-the-box thinking for innovative testing solutions.
- Strong knowledge of QA best practices and automation tools.
